keep the car running
although my car is pretty noisy, it sure is fun to drive around in. every time i get in, i say "trackaaaa" under my breath and put the top down at all possible opportunities. i got new contacts today - $500 for a year's worth + the exam fee!! that's just too crazy - thank goodness insurance is reimbursing me.
my house has been straight up chaos lately. i was at Nate's last night after work, sitting on the couch (very high) and he suggested i just spend the night. i thought that sounded nice, but i changed my mind at the last minute. it turns out good that i did because when i got home at 2:00am my 12-year-old sister was still awake, blasting techno and playing Tomb Raider on my parents' computer. apparently neither of them decided to come home from work and, since they aren't on speaking terms really, didn't tell each other. it's hard for me to work the night shift almost every night and still keep track of my sister. i'm sick of having to be the only responsible person in the house just because they have issues with each other. i don't know what's going to happen when i move out in september.
