Today was strange.
On my way to school, I got two calls telling me that the entire campus was closed. The trees wreaked some havoc on a few cars and buildings there last night and campus had no power. Whoops. That NEVER happens, so I was shocked/pleasantly surprised that I really didn't believe the news and had to pull over at AM PM and gather my thoughts for a while.
Later, on my way to meet Rosalyn for a no-class celebration coffee date, I had my first car accident. I hit a semi truck that pulled out in front of me, but it wasn't my fault at all. I drive down Legion every day and I know each stop sign by heart. He had one, I didn't. He just pulled out in front of me and I ran into the left side of his cab. Nobody was hurt, but my car is kinda messed. The trucker asshole started yelling at me like it was MY fault and i was so shocked that I didn't know what was really going on. Luckily, the guy driving behind me jumped out of his car to yell at the semi truck driver and basically helped me out of my shock and into reality again. He assured me that he witnessed everything and gave me his name and number. Then he reassured me that if I needed to just "talk or hang out and relax a little" I should call him too, but that didn't bother me at all because I was so thankful that he helped me out when I was frozen and getting yelled at by trucker asshole.
I have a brand new camera though, so everything's okay. (Old camera broke, warranty still existed, exchange of old camera for a new and WAY better camera for the difference of $12).
