Seattle was perfect. The MEPN info session was a relief in that I am right on track and just as qualified as anyone else who went to it... I wasn't expecting that at all.
The UW campus is beautiful and ginormous... much more than I remember.
After the info session we met up with Nick, John and Kendra and got drunk at one of those trendy college bars. Afterward, Tyler and I stumbled around Seattle, in a frenzy over actually being able to pull off a move to Seattle.
The next day we walked through east lake to downtown and met Rachel. We walked and talked and visited Lee at his work and got free coffee. Seeing Rachel and Lee made the move-to-Seattle idea that much less intimidating.
So I'm off to work for one day and then it's the weekend. Two quarters at Evergreen, the GREs and then we can move out of Olympia. I'm starting to feel like a living, breathing and equipped-with-a-pulse human being again.
