SMA (student medical assistant) training is in full swing. I've already performed blood draws and am pretty familiar with doing all the vitals. In about half an hour, we're giving injections on each other. We get to try intramuscular, subcutaneous AND intradermal (we get TB tests for those), so it should be a pretty long afternoon. I'm not used to being at Evergreen every day, all day, and I'm running out of time to do everything else in my life like keeping up with my friends.
My new apartment is still freaking rad. I am sleeping well there despite the garbage trucks and street sweepers that seem to constantly operate right outside my window (probably because this SMA thing is wiping me out).
Time to get pumped full of saline!
