The TV's bust
Well fbook is down at work today (in fact i suspect it's being blocked by the new server) so I am forced to return to ye olde LJ to make my petty pontifications. I visited my first Comedy Festival show ever last night, not so much to catch up with the latest in hard edge satire from people deriding an Establishment which hasn't existed for sometime but because it was a show by old fandom chum Katherine Phelps.
It was very much in the Glasswings/Gummi Bear cute & whacky style she favours, with stuffed toys, balloon animals and audience involvement, I wore antlers for much of the performance. It would be a tad esoteric for the average punter but if you're a veteran from the old Concave days you could do worse than turn up.
