It's interesting that things unexpected seem to creep up on you in bunches.
I got big news from a friend I hadn't really talked to in a long time. My heart and my prayers go out to you.
I'm working on a painting.
I have currently done the first coat sans dog. I will do the dog last. Dogs are hard.

And I need to finish my painting of Emily.
I've been considering doing a series of women. It would be cool to get my art up at Badger Brothers some time, but I have to get enough art that I'd want to have up first before I really consider that. So I work.
I've re-started Libra. It's a good book, and I want to finish it before school starts. I imagine I will. I hope Kasey feels better soon - sick is not fun, especially on summer break! Talking with Emily was great tonight. I was honestly a bit surprised she called me back. I know she doesn't like phones, and I've just been used to being the one to call her. It was great to hear from her.
My tea is gone. I think I'll refill the cup with hot water and have anuttah cup.
I want to write a couple more books now. Progress on my current one is actually pretty good. The new ones would be one about a table at a cafe/coffee shop. Exciting I know. I have an angle. And then "How Kasey's Friday Went". I just got the idea for it today. It would be an interesting book not only to write, but hopefully to read. Anyway...tea.
