Morning blog
Last Tuesday night, my guinea pig, Pilz-e, died :-( I miss him soooo much, and even though it isn't my fault I feel really guilty about how much he suffered :-( Pilz was only 2 and a half, so his death was completely unexpected. On Monday he was his usual hoppy, happy self and 24 hours later he was dying. We aren't going to get another guinea pig, so we've been giving Milhouse a lot of attention so that he isn't lonely. Hopefully he will soon get used to being an only pig.
In less depressing news, my temp job has been extended for another week. In theory, this coming Friday will be my last day, but we'll see if it really happens.
Today is a Bank Holiday (thank goodness!), so I get to do sweet nothing for an extra day. I think all we are going to do today is grocery shopping and I will make dinner (probably chili). I haven't cooked a real meal in a while, so I thought we could do with some healthy food.
