Smooches & Grasshoppers

I managed to send some back but when I wanted to smooch back the others this morning, the v-gifts were no longer free, sooo... Yeah.
Have a collective smooch instead!
Today is already not going the way I'd planned. I wanted to get up around 9.30 to start studying right away, but since I had a little adventure last night and couldn't fall asleep before 5 am, I didn't get up until around 11.
The adventure was... well.
Around 2.30, I was ready to fall asleep when I feel something tickling my arm. I open my eyes, shriek and jump up when I see a GIANT FUCKING GRASSHOPPER ON MY ARM!!! Suffice to say that I freaked out a little. I went to get a cup to trap it and ended up accidentally cutting off its leg - and not managing to trap it because it was too big to fit into a regular cup. So I paced my room looking for it. It finally re-emerged from under the bed and I put a box over it. I carried it downstairs with a note of instructions for my mother or brother to throw it out - far far FAR away from the house.
So I went back to bed, ready to sleep... but still felt like I was hearing soft scratchy noises that sounded suspiciously like there was something else in my room. I thought I was imagining things, so I tried to relax. But then I felt something moving on my hip and jumped up again - AND THERE IT WAS! STARING AT ME ALL SMUG, LIKE IT WAS SAYING: HA! Here I am again!
After freaking a little, I managed to put it in a box and carry it into the kitchen... turns out it had escaped from the first box. For a moment, I was sure it had an evil(ler) twin. Boah. I mean... I wouldn't freak out about a grasshopper under normal circumstances but this one was fucking HUGE! Like... longer than a regular cigarette? Yeah. It was GROSS.
In the end, I fell asleep at 5 am, so... my plans of getting up early and getting started on studying didn't exactly work out the way I'd planned. After being up for about an hour, I'm finally starting to feel like a human being again, so... yeeaaah. I'll probably start studying soon.
