*Which really didn't seem that useless, but it still sounded kind of silly.
He shrugs and tries to punch her in the face. It should be nothing to block or deflect, Sollux really can't fight like this.*

[It really isn't much to block. A slight shift in his weight is the only cue she needs and she catches the blow on her forearm, deflecting it off course past her ear.]

And he's right. You gotta wait and listen. But none of that's going to help you if someone can just do this.
