So those changes have finally gone away. Not a moment too soon, in my opinion. Being a vampire might have been... educational... on some level, and not that I have anything against the type, but I'm in no rush to repeat it. Thank you, Miss Elda, for chaperoning guiding us through the process.

Everyone else got through relatively intact, I hope?

Cassis and I still haven't gotten a chance to talk things over yet. I'm not putting it off (maybe a little) but at the same time, I'm not eager to go through with it either. For that matter, I haven't had a chance to talk to Kir yet, either. He said something about having fought with Aligoté. Again.

I haven't seen the Warden in a few days, so I guess he's gone back to outside the Wall. I wonder if he's been punished for sending those people home before the storm attack. I hope not. He did get all the buildings repaired before he left, though, and even the Indigeo seems to be working fine. And food has stopped appearing in random places! It's a relief to see things back to normal, as normal as they get in this place.

If my counting is right, it's the first of the month again, isn't it? I missed the Pumpkin Festival in Amarcord again this year. I wonder if Mrs Apello gave out free cookies again.

And this makes month nine. Is... is there even anyone left from that time when there were only a handful of us? I'm getting so weary of waking up and looking at these grey walls each morning.
