litter training fail
I read in various places that it was possible to train guinea pigs to use a litter box, so I thought I'd give it a try -- make things way easier for me. So I bought a tiny ferret/rabbit litter box, put it in Thistle's favorite business corner, and before I could even fill it with litter he ran into it and lay down. Even when I put the litter into it, he just squeaked happily for a bit and got comfortable. And now he only gets out of his new-found sofa in order to do that which he was supposed to do in it. So, the experiment was a failure in pretty much every way possible :)
