Diary,

Things have been moving slowly, as usual. The days go by at a snail's pace and each that passes is a sore reminder that my "condition" won't ever improve. It definitely helps to have Thierry in my life again. She's still pretty stupid, but I missed her. We should go to the beach together soon and catch crabs. I wonder if she still knows that recipe?

My mood has been better since joining The Zephyr Crew. ((A small smiley face.)) The days are more interesting and less frustrating when there's a small entourage of people I can go to whenever I'm bored out of my mind. Of course, Thierry's friends are okay. They're weird. They're freaks, most of them, but they seem harmless enough. Some of them, anyway. I don't mesh with them that well, and Thi probably doesn't want me embarrassing her all the time. Not that I'll stop, of course. Just not to her personal groupies.

The Zephyr Crew has several members I enjoy the company of. Caeryn Peyton is an obviously serious, albeit intelligent forsaken woman I'm fond of. She seems to not mind our conversations and me being absent the first two weeks of my employment with the Crew. Will have to apologize properly for that. Gaurth, the big tauren fellow, is unabashedly nice and actually very witty, despite what I used to hear about Shoe-hallows from the folks in Silvermoon.

Saraquael, the barmaid, is the obvious star of the show. She's extremely sweet and a little oblivious to the nastiness that goes down at that bar, the Drunken Kodo (which, by the way, I actually am starting to like working at...). I wonder if it's hard for her sometimes, being so sweet in such a crooked place. Thierry could probably relate, to at least being completely ignorant of what's going on at all times, the little headache.

Maranwe, whom I just met last night, is apparently the Kodo's undead cook. She's a reformed Death Knight, like me, and apparently is very uptight. She seems nice, if a little strange. Witty, I think. Tendaros "The White" is the other new hire, a Sin'dorei paladin who takes himself far too seriously and is quite mad (way more insane than Zurali, should apologize to him for that). He's always hopping about in some new set of armor, disturbing the peace and shouting bullshit nonsense. His boyfriend is that Death Knight who first told me I'd have to feed my blade. Wasn't that a fun little discovery.

Marosemius, the priest, apparently doesn't work at the bar. He just sort of... lurks. Watch out for that one. Creepy. Last, of course, is Bloodaxe, the orcish bouncer. Not sure what to say... he's good people. Much less violent and short-tempered than the orcs I see in Orgrimmar. Friendly to me, for some bizarre unknown reason, and even sought me out in Outland of all places to... talk. That was unexpected. He's certainly funny, pretty sharp... apparently has a thing for elves. It wouldn't be worth noting if he didn't insist on making inappropriate comments about me at the most inopportune times. The fact that he finds a dead woman attractive at all is a little funny to me, if a bit... well, flattering.

Erenar should probably just join up, too. He's been a doll, lately. Coming along with our excursions to various dragon keeps and dungeons and whatnot, waiting behind for me to catch up when I inevitably get knocked upside the head one too many times. He's being extremely sweet, and I'm certainly not sure what to make of it. I've been getting compliments from him too, on the occasion, which is so funny. I certainly enjoy his company, but I don't know. I guess it doesn't hurt to keep hanging around with him. He's a good friend.

Apparently compliments from unexpected people can make the dead blush. Who knew? Stupid blood presence.
