it seems everyone only comes on here to make a 'sorry i havent been around' post and i felt left out
here's some cliffs notes since last we met
i got laid off at the end of may from a job i didn't care about
in the couple weeks right after the layoff i recorded an album (my last post), built some stuff out of wood, and decided that i was only going to do stuff i liked from now on
in july i got married and it's been great. almost two months so far, aforementioned plan going smoothly
today i just solidified the fact that i have two wonderful jobs lined up... one pressing vinyl records, the other selling them (and also cds and music-related wares)
cari quit her job right after i got laid off, she's back in school now because the thing she actually wants to do is be a teacher
we're driving our parents crazy because they think it's irresponsible or something but i know that mine were the ones who got me into this mess in the first place... glad to be out of it before 30
oh and i'm 29 today, happy birthday me
