I got a new mouse the other day. I use a wireless mouse because cords put drag on the mouse that I find annoying. My previous wireless mouse was using batteries a lot more than I had imagined it would, and it was not as responsive as I needed. So I got a rechargeable one (the
Logitech MX-LASER) which is more ergonomic and has a much finer response to movement, which will help with my artwork.
Well, the surface of the mouse where my fingers rest is made of some kind of rubbery plastic surface which feels incredibly cool. I can't really think of anything to compare it to and so of course it was necessary that I try licking it to see how that felt. It felt just as I'd suspected -- like licking a rubbery plastic surface. But now I know.
