Knock Wood...
well, i told everyone i would post when i had an update, and i do, so i will.
we have found a newer more better surgeon who was willing to work with my insurance nazis and get me a surgery. it is scheduled for next thursday, in the a.m. it is a different process from what my first asshole surgeon (otherwise known as: Jehovah Schaffhausen, the man who lives his life like god and hates to be questioned) completely. it will mean i'm off my feet for 6-8 weeks.
those of you who know me are probably thinking that i'm gonna 1) go crazy not being able to do anything (housework especially) for that long and 2)that i'm gonna go stir crazy being stuck in teh house.
i, in all honesty, am totally looking forward to my recupe time. i need a break from my job and i need to let my body rest and heal because of the damage that has been done (just from daily life) while i've been waiting for the surgery to finally happen. my lower body is a MESS. i'll get to sit around and play video games, read and listen to my ipod. it's exactly what i've been wanting. and quite frankly, since i'm injured, i'm so sick of having to go out that i'm looking forward to being housebound as well. maybe not for the whole 6-8 weeks, but for a good portion of it.
so, even though i'm more physically damaged than i was before, mentally i'm better. people can feel free to come and see me if they feel like it. no pressure though. i've become isolated and weird and people might not want to be around me. :)
so, there ya go. it's my update. hopefully, everything will go according to plan and it will be good.
