There's good news for Higurashi fans. :) There's a new group working on an English patch for the original sound novels. To my knowledge, there has been a patch made for Minagoroshi-hen (and maybe Matsuribayashi-hen?) in the past, and part of Onikakushi-hen. About the demos in the official site...
Mirrors 7 and 8 don't really work... I keep getting a "NOT AUTHORIZED" page. Is it just my computer or...?

I think the one I downloaded from was 7, so it worked for me. It might be a temporary problem, or it could be your computer ...? Do any of the other mirrors work?

The other mirrors work. I just have a problem on how to start it.. *doesn't have any knowledge on PC games- But I want to play it.. xD;

After you've downloaded the patch, extract it into a subfolder of the game, and then start the game by clicking on onscripter-en.exe in the patch folder. :)

Sometimes, the screen is just staying in one place and I keep hearing splats. .__.; Is that supposed to happen, or did the game freeze?
