OKAY. Me + the internet + credit card = disaster area. Plane ticket (1), Matches tickets (2), Liz Phair tickets (3), awesome birthday present for Kyla, Logan Whitehurst & the Jr. Science Club's older albums (2). It's like, what have I not bought in the past 36 hours?
Oh wait I KNOW. RESERVATIONS IN PEI.
However, the task just seems faraway, daunting, and in my continued frazzled state, next to impossible. Therefore I have given up on it and will resume the search once in Mississauga, hopefully by then possessing certain factoids necessary re: Greyhound Canada that for the life of me are not available on the internet.
In case anybody cares, this is what I'm doing.
3rd July - depart Port Authority (NYC) at 2 pm; arrive 11:30 pm in Mississauga, ON. Be like, "eeee it's Steph!!"
4th July - sleep a lot, get dolled up, and take Steph to see the Matches and Reel Big Fish. Surprise Matches for me, meet Aaron Barret for Steph.
5th July - Kick it in Toronto and eventually leave via Greyhound.
6th - 8th or 9th July - Prince Edward Island; ANNE!!! Be big giant nerd. Enjoy self thoroughly.
After this is Joe and Kass and Rorb and I have already discussed it I think but the point here is that I am spending almost a week in Canada! 'Twill be my third foreign country (I feel like I have been to more but that's just cause I've been to Mexico four times I guess) and I am getting kind of excited about it! I don't expect much difference from the US but it's still neat. And touring Green Gables! Ahahah! The thing, though, that is not good is that I can't use my cell there except for outrageous roaming charges. Not that this will make a difference to anybody but Strike who is the only person who ever calls me (or returns my calls, for that matter), but I recommend calling me and leaving me lots of messages to listen to when I get back to the States! It will be fun times. If you actually need to get in touch with me (but why would you?) during that time you're probably better off with email.
Also, um, I'm excited in a vague sort of far-off way to be seeing Liz Phair finally. She has been a huge influence on me and is my supreme goddess of rock, and after idolizing her for like five years I finally get to see her live. I need to get her new album...Ay...
