I saw "Golden Door" on Friday night. It's a Martin Sorcese film; a love story and fantasy about immigrants leaving Italy and coming to the USA - and their experience at Ellis Island. Very interesting film. Worth seeing. The milk sense was beautiful.
I saw "La Vie En Rose" on Sunday afternoon. The movied about the singer Edith Piaf and her troubled life. Everything about this picture is amazing; the sequencing, the costumes, the technique...everything was intense and yet not depressing but it was sad. It was 2.5 hours and I was exhausted when it was over, but I REALLY wish LadyLinton would see both of these so I could hear her verbalize what I'm trying to say!
Both subtitled; 1 in Italian and the other in French.
Both were fantastic.
