Plans, within plans, within plans....

The saga and a lengthy battle is coming to an end...so 2 weeks ago, my mother fell in the parking lo of our aprtment building. I was doing PRN Phlebotomy for 3 days straight and would go to bed @ like 6:00 p.m. in order t be up and ready to go by 5:00 a.m. Anyhoo, I had no idea where my mother was for 2 whole days. She was in the hospital. So the hospital said they would start to find placement for our mother, and they could keep her up to 30 days. So like for the first 3 days in a long, long very long time, I actually slept. I actually caught myself making my mother breakfast & coffee and getting her pills out. So this past week, imagine how crestfallen, heartbroken, disturbed. UPSET. When the hospital called and said that they would be discharging our mother. :O So when my mother went to get her, no one told her that she was ready to go or that she'd be ready later. No they had a done a bladder scan and would be keeping her. On Friday, she texted me to tell me that the memory care lockdown unit that we wanted her to go to, would be able to take her. :D So finally her situation might be resolved.
Although, my sister whom I have not seen in 10 years is coming to visit. She messaged me earlier today that they missed their flight and to stay overnight in Houston. Although they are in country, they are nowhere near or in the state. So that changes my plans. They won't be here until tomorrow. I work tomorroww-10 hours. So that is one less day, but shot happens. Also my son will no longer living in the dorms starting in December. :|
I'm hoping to pick up two overnights that are 12 hour shifts, starting in early November. I would have about 58 hours a week. The patient is no going to live forever, so I *need* to get work while I can. Once he's gone-there is no one else to take his place...I want to get caught up on my student loans, and hopefully having some $$ saved up. But plans, within plans, within plans are a tangled web, we weave.
