Things are looking up.
I had a VERY busy day today. I'm trying to get as much done (translation: everything) as possible before I go on vacation next week. As a condition of my acceptance to remain at SAIC, I asked for a raise and next week off - on them. :-) So...I will be off next week and can't freaking wait.
Lola seems better. She's less warm to the touch, less blood in her poop, less poop, she's eating her chicken and rice, and she's a little feisty. I'm worried that there is still a little blood, but it looks like it was getting less and less, so that's awesome. How could a bacteria cause blood in the poop? Hmmm....
Lola slept with me last night and I can tell she's feeling a bit better. She didn't just sleep through the night. Which means that I didn't either. I woke up at 1:21 a.m. with a stuffed duckie on my head. At 2:54 a.m., it was a chew stick. At 3:43 a.m., it was my sock, and at 6:10 it was a stuffed monkey. *sigh* And when I woke up, my bed had four stuffed squeeeeeky toys, 6 chew sticks, and one puppy in it. :-)
Happiness is waking up with a piece of rawhide stuck to your cheek.
