(no subject)
so all of a sudden, all these movies out there are now upwards of two hours. what the hell. king kong was three hours, but held my attention enough for me to overlook it (mainly because of t-rex kong fight), but i saw munich the other night, which was well over two hours, and for the last hour or so i just wanted it to be done. personally, i didnt find it that good anyway, and the longevity of it made it less bareable. another long movie that would have been better shorter was the 40 year old virgin. it was a pointless comedy, and two hours of pointless comedy is a bit much, even for me. and now i just read a review of some movie that i cant even recall the title of, and it said it was over 2 hours as well, and very bad at that. why can we just have a good old hour and a half movie anymore?
