the universe is fucking with me / lol byakko dream
These are two unrelated things!
1) I found a deck of divination cards while cleaning up the apartment the other day (I think they were a misguided gift, as I am a grouchy skeptic and I spit on your tarot) and decided to tell my own fortune so I could laugh at how wrong it was. "HEY DIVINATION CARDS," I ask, "WILL I HAVE FUN AT MY FRIEND'S PARTY?" and I get some vague nonsense like "CHAOS, AN ADMIRER, ANOTHER GIRL, JEALOUSY" and think "Okay, so, love triangle? That will never in a million years happen."
And then I meet some new people at the party, and one of them is a guy who is SO RONERY and just got out of a messy relationship, and starts asking questions about me because I am cute but non-threatening. Then there is his coworker who wants into his pants SO BADLY despite the fact that he is not interested, and as soon as she hears him mention me BAM THE CLAWS! (But I made her shake my hand at the end of the night because I am like that.)
So the divination cards are still so much bullshit because "JEALOUSLY! A LOVE TRIANGLE! VAGUE CHANGE!" is about the only answer they can GIVE, but quel coincidence that I should happen upon them before this particular party. Therefore, I can only conclude that the universe is fucking with me.
2) I ought to feel more self-conscious about these RP-related dreams, but they are darn cute and I just can't. So I share for metonymy's and peppermintberry's and odangoinblack's potential amusement.
Basically the seishi wind up in the real world with Sachita, and she is trying to dress them in normal real world clothes but they just can't figure out the hats. Kali keeps trying to wear like three hats at a time, and Agni winds up with a ridiculous jaunty beret until Sachita takes it away (and then Shahil ends up with the beret). I don't know WHY this would happen (like they don't have hats in the Universe of the Four Gods?) but there ya go.
My subconscious is adorable (which might explain why I have yet to dream about Akhet).
