Today, on the first day of my physics lab (pendulums lol), I learned there were quite a bit of compsci majors. Also, that I was the highest in the chain of classes. So I got to impart my wisdom upon the younger (and older, strangely) generation. Wisdom, such as "C++ is kinda fucked up" "CS 227 is basically my favorite class" and "The only reason to use Ada is if you work for the Department of Defense." One of the people in my lab group, a cs major (and GURL OMG), and I debated the merits of learning a natural science as a requirement for the cs major. We could find none. Also in my lab group: A Spanish major. Yep. Awesome lab group. There was one other guy, he was pretty cool. Oh, one of the other wisdoms I imparted on them was "Java sucks ass for everything except online." So all in all, today was pretty awesome. Well, except for 15 minutes before lab. When I was suddenly stricken with
THE NOSEBLEED OF DOOM
I'm serious. DOOM. It lasted about 10 minutes, and I probably lost around 1/2 a cup of blood. which is 1/4 of a pint. I mean, it wasn't anywhere near the ~1 pint that they take during blood donations, but then again, it wasn't coming out of my arm, it was coming out my nose. Which was awesome. Especially when classes started getting out. LOL.
My body loves me and wants me to be popular :)
