This entire fic was fantastic- heart wrenchingly, gut twistingly fantastic. I adored it completely, and Ellen... oh, Ellen. I love the parallels and contrasts between the two pairings and between the two women, and it's just... absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic job! I wish I could be more eloquent with my feedback, but I'm not particularly good at it. But this was absolutely amazing, and I loved it. Thanks for writing this!

I loved all of your feedback--I really appreciated that you commented on each chapter. It was very insightful. It was so sweet of you, and wonderful to read your thoughts.

I'm a little speechless right now (in a good way) at your generous and glowing feedback, I'm soooo happy you loved it. It means a lot to me because this story really came from my heart. So thank you.

Thank merrykk :) She left feedback on every chapter of mine, and it was so nice that I decided to take a page from her book. (Plus, it's a little easier at times if there's something specific I want to comment on.) Heh.

This really was an excellent story. I have a total soft spot for New Caprica anyway, because there are so many blanks to be filled in. And ever since... hmm... I think I started falling in love with Ellen when I did femgenficathon, and then she featured heavily in both my big bangs, and I just completely and utterly fell in love with her. She's just so complicated, but she comes across at first as anything but. I need to start finding more Ellen fic ::sigh::

I also didn't notice the banner for the top, because I came from the big bang site and just hit the chapter links, but the art at the top is beautiful!

Thanks on the banner--my bigbang artist didn't necessarily produce something relevant to the story, so there was a bit of a rally (riot? lol) by some friends last night and katamaran78 whipped that one up for me. It's gorgeous, isn't it?

Right on. That's what makes her so fun to write. It's so awesome that you're an Ellen fangirl. I am going to have to read your fic, at least, put them on my list, because I am really crappy at reading fic but I have good intentions. :)

I know the feeling. I tend to be good if it's an author I know or a character that piques my interest, but after that I'm not always so good. (Which is really only a big deal in challenges.) I kind of want to read all of the big bangs just because I know the amount of work that goes in to them (plus, they're pretty guaranteed to have a plot ;) ), but some just won't get read. ::Sigh ( ... )

OMG, yes! Firefly/BSG. They are totally made to crossover. I've always kind of thought a Mal/Laura romance would be hot and epic. :) Or a Laura/Inara but that's just me

Actually I can see Laura/Inara better than Laura/Mal :) (My Mal OTP is Mal/Serenity. :) )

I always wanted to write one where Gaeta and Simon became good friends, and where Tom Zarek ended up on Whitefall and played political games with Patience, and eventually one day Laura came out and saw him on Whitefall on a horse and in a cowboy hat and she nearly fell over laughing her ass off at him. (There's a lot more of a plot, but I never came up with an ending. Guess I'll stick to working on my BSG/Pigs in Space crossover for Christmas.)

I ship Laura with practically everyone with two legs (guess that means no Gaeta, sorry Gaeta) so that's really why I think she'd be hot with Mal.
