This past week, as I sailed the Caribbean on the biggest cruiseship in the world, I gained somewhere from five to seven pounds, cooked a three-course Mexican meal, went banana boating and met the cutest boy in Mexico, shopped in Grand Cayman, went tubing in Jamaica, laid on a beach and parasailed in Haiti, read the entirety of Memoirs of a Geisha, went iceskating and "surfing" on the ship, saw three professional stage productions, attended an art auction and three sessions of BINGO (one of which the jackpot prize was $10,486), gambled for the first time, sipped champagne and strawberry daquiris, saw a magic show and an ice skating show, ate endless Johnny Rockets and Ben & Jerry's, forgot what it was like to work, drive and pay for food, and took over 1,200 pictures and videos that I will start uploading tonight.
