There's nothing like rejection to motivate a student.
Or a person. Anyway, if you hadn't heard yet, I was rejected from the UW (again...twice in one application period). And today I found out I might not have a job at the Boys and Girls Club this summer. I'll just do really, really, really, really, really ridiculously good (-looking) on my tests over the next two weeks.
How do any of you feel about Western? And please, don't give me any "you should totally go there/here" bullshit, I just want honest impressions and opinions. Some things I want to know about are city life (theater, music, shopping, clubs, etc.), work opportunities, the music department, dorms, if there's anything to do aside from smoke weed, stuff like that.
It's that or community college, or taking a gap quarter/semester/year/however long I fail.
I heard somewhere that Cinco de Mayo was going to be Senior Skip Day...you know, 5/5 for the class of '05. I'm definitely not going to any classes tomorrow. All the cool seniors are going to take AP and IB tests instead.
