A few of my favorite things: July
Hello friends! It's that time again, where I mention a few of my favorite things from the past month. The rason I do this series, is so you might be able to find some new things to love and enjoy for the upcoming months. I also filmed a video to accompany this post, so if you don't feel like reading today, you can listen instead.
I've been really loving coconut scented things this month. Maybe it's because it's Summer, or maybe it's because coconut reminds me of someplace tropical, and I don't like near anywhere tropical. So, my first three favorites are all coconut scented things.
*Ulta moisturizing body lotion: not thick, which is great for the Summer, and comes with a handy pump, so it's easy to use!
*The Body Shop shower creme: really luscious and creamy, has an INSANE delicious coconut smell
*The Body Shop body scrub: good to use once a week-ish on rough patches of skin, does not irritate me
When I was on a plane a couple of weeks ago, I noticed just how dry my lips were. So when I had some time to kill on my layover, I stopped at the little Body Shop stand, and picked up a lip balm, which has vitamin e to be moisturizing, and also has an SPF as well. Yay! It's the first, well one of the first lip balms, that I don't ever want to lose and hold on to.

*Marc by Marc Jacobs leather satchel: Bought this lovely bag when I was on vacation last Summer. I switch out my bags on the regualr, and I fell back in love with this bag. I like the size, I wear it on my elbow and just go. It has feet on the bottom, so nothing weird gets on it. I love the feel (and the smell) of the leather too. I just wish the inside of the bag was a little different.
*Tervis insulated water bottle: I have a small but mighty collection of Tervis cups growing at my house. I love the waterbottle design because it has the hole on top so I am able to put my fingers through and carry it with me wherever I go. Plus, Tervis cups keep my drinks nice a cold, and they have a million and one designs to choose from. There is really something for everyone!
*VonZipper Booker party animals: These are my sunglasses of choice right now. I love the rainbow reflective lenses that do such a fab job of blocking out the Summer sun. I also love the teal leopard print arms on the sides. These are super lightweight and don't feel like they are weighing my face down. Plus, I feel cool wearing them ;)
*Neighbours : Neighbours is a silly Australian soap opera that I've been watching on the regular for over a year now. The show has truly been going on for 30 years, and tells the stories of all the families that live on this one street. It's only half hour episodes, so it doesn't take up your whole life, but it's silly, soap opera-y, and I'm addicted. Now, since I live in the US, I have to watch it on the sly, but don't tell anyone that ;)
*Livefastdiepoor and its siste channel Justin Scarred have Youtube videos all about the happiest place on earth: Disneyland! Justin is funny, weird, and entertaining, and always has some neat facts to share about Disneyland, filming locations, and abandoned locations. I really find his videos entertaining.
*Something Different : another Youtube channel with entertaining, feel good videos. Sarah post hauls, vlog videos, and just basically makes me laugh.
