Since this is the last day of the month, it's time to share some of my favorite things from the past 30 days. This is a monthly series in which I share some of my favorite beauty, music, games andwhatever I happened to fall in love with this month. Why? Why not! In sharing these things I hope you might find something you would be interested in trying, and maybe finding a product that you love! If you would like to check out the past two months, please follow the tag below to find some other things I love. Otherwise, let's get started!
Honey Trap lip balm: This is a lip balm from Lush that I've re-discovered and fallen in love with again. If you've ever been into a Lush shop and smelled 'Honey I Washed the Kids' soap', this is that exact same scent in a lip balm. It's so delicious and tasty and I think it does an awesome job on making your lips nice and soft.
Charity Pot: This is a lotion also from Lush that I felt compelled to buy when I was in a Lush store a few weeks ago. Not only does this do an awesome job at making your skin soft, it also smells, like chocolate in my opinion. Yummy! But the great thing about Charity Pot is that 100% of the purchase goes back to whatever charity they're supporting at the time. I think you can't go wrong with that. When I bought it, Lush happened to be supporting a charity that worked to end bullying, and since I've been bullied in the past, I had to buy it. So not only are you buying a good product, you're supporting charity as well.
Personal Space Air Freshener: This is an air freshener that I got to try when I got my first Fortune Cookie Soap Box. I. Love. It Because let's face it, sometimes places, ie the bathroom, get stinky. This does a great job at getting rid of odors and making your space smell so much better. Tmi?
Big TV: I finally bought the newest White Lies album 'Big TV' and it's a beautiful thing. I love it just as much as the previous album if not more. My favorite song is 'First Time Caller', and have begun to make a habit of listening to the song at least once on the way to work. I absolutely recommend it!
Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner: This is a toner from Kiehl's that I've been using for a while now, and I love it. I've always shied away from using a toner simply because they usually always have alcohol in them and are WAY too harsh for my face. This feels great, no stinging, and my face always feel great after I apply it. If you like me, have been afraid to try toners, I suggest trying this one.
CTFxC: If you check out my a day in my life posts, you know I talk about this YouTube channel a lot. But now I truly want to suggest Charles and Alli to you from the bottom of my heart. Charles, one half of the CTFxC recently had his second brain surgery to remove the tumor , and vlogged while in surgery. His recovery has been incredible, and even though I have never met neither Charles or Alli, their story has been inspiring. Click on their channel, and go back a week or so, you won't regret it! <3
What is something(s) that you've been listening to, watching, playing, eating, wearing, whatever this month??
