Yay concerts!
Last night I went out to Mesa to see We The Kings in concert. It was both fun and different going to a concert where I wasn't a mega fan of the band. I really went for fun and to have a good time. It's probably not cool to say I'm a fan of We The Kings, but whatever, their fun. I watch a daily vlog channel on youtube called Internet Killed Television and long story short the husband on the channel joined the band a few years ago, and I thought it would be fun to, since I watch them on the internet every day, why not go see them in person. I'm really glad I did. Although I was pretty sure I was one of the oldest people there.
The only bad part of the night, was the fact that there were four freaking opening acts. FOUR? I bought a wristband so I could go in and out of the venue before We The Kings got on stage, and I'm glad I did. Although I do hate that since it got dark, I had to go inside and watch an awful rapper for too too long.
By the time We The Kings went on stage I was about four people back from the stage, and had a really awesome view of the bassist, which was what I was hoping for. I don't think I have ever gotten so sweaty during a concert, ZOMG I was dying. But I had a really good time overall. Even when my feet were killing me, and I was dripping sweat, and even when it hurt to walk this morning.
They played two of my favorite songs, so it's safe to say that this night was an awesome success :D Yay!
