Recital 2013: In the books
It's been a week now, oops!, so let's talk about recital. My favorite time of year. And the day that we work toward all year long.
This was a special recital for the dance studio because it was our 25th anniversary year. And I like to think, we've got it down. But everything went so so smoothly, and really I couldn't be happier. My babies did great, and looked great on stage. I think what I'm happiest about when it comes to my babies, is that two of my classes danced on stage all by themselves. When we found out that studio owner didn't want the teachers to go in front of the stage, I never imagined that months later, that could have been a possibility. When I went into the studio this morning, studio owner told me that their parents were really impressed with that fact, so, that makes me happy. My tap class did great, I wish the girls would have put more oomph into it, but the dance was cute. My jazz class, despite how difficult that class was at times, looked cute as well. From what I heard from lots of teachers, everyone loved that dance. I'm glad because I really did too.
