I went to another write in tonight, that wasn't much of a write in. Besides one of the region leaders, there were only two people. One other girl and myself. The good news was that it was at the Starbucks super close to my house, so thankfully I didn't have to go far tonight. But the most exciting part is that I am now over 40k words! I feel like the end is so close now. I'm a little worried about pacing and wrapping everything up nicely, but I imagine with enough fussing, I'm sure it'll be okay.
Today's nugget is brought to you but a wee Maffhew :
"No mum, that'll only make things worse! But that's why I want to quit piano lessons."
"Matthew, no matter how hard you try to convince me, we're not going to stop your lessons. I would really like for you to play an instrument, to see how much fun it is. And besides, you can't just come home after school and do nothing. Is there something that you wanted to do instead?"
Matthew's blue eyes grew wide, an excited wild look filling the blue orbs.
"Boxing, or fighting. Something…manly, and tough." He said with a nod
In other news, I need to find some holiday themed icons, since there are plenty of things going on in the coming weeks and month.
