The list!
1. This morning was a little crazy, but as of about 10:30 or so, I have tickets to go see Muse in July! FUCK YEAH! I was a little hesitant to buy tickets to this show, and I ended up having to buy the more expensive tickets, but I'm sorry I'm not going to sit in the UPPER UPPER deck to see my boys. As I was thinking about these tickets, I got really excited because including this year, I'll have seen Muse three years in a row. Once in '09, twice last year, and once this Summer. When they were in LA last Fall, I died because I wasn't able to go because they were so close, so I knew I had to go. I flew to North Carolina to see Muse not as an opening act, and I'm going to do it again...this time a little bit closer to home. I'm so fucking excited guys. Really!
I'm not gonna be the person to bitch about setlists, but I have high expectations for this show. And because some of their "harder" stuff fits well with the theme that I think this concert has. So, we'll see. I'M SEEING MUSE!!
2. A friend of my Dad's gave us an arm off his cactus that had fallen off. The yard guys who take care of things, planted it, and we didn't really expect anything to come of it. When I go over to my parents house on Monday, I see this MASSIVE bloom, and knew I had to take a picture of it. The mysterious thing about Cacti, is that their blooms don't last long at all, so this could have been the only bloom that cactus sees all year. In the meantime, EPIC CACTUS BLOOM:
3. Finally, I thought I would share my post from adayinmylife since people liked it last time. And because I had a HELL of a time making it, so why not. This is what my Sunday. May 8th, Mother's Day, looked like in 40 pictures.
Goooood mooooorning!
My alarm goes off early for a Sunday morning
Time for a shower in the smallest shower ever? Yup!
So fresh and so clean clean!
Freaky contact picture a'hoy! Putting my eyes in.
Check up on the flist
Gotta brush those pearly whites
And send an e-mail
Let's do this!
I meet my Mom at church
Happy mother's day mom!
Once church is out, I head to the drugstore
To buy cotton swabs, and to pick up my pictures
But I stop to get a drink on the way home
I finally have a picture to put in my little frame
It's time to clean my car :(
A little better no?
I get a call afterwards that I should go to Scottsdale with my folks, so..on the way to Scottsdale
To get cupcakes!!
i'll take them all please
Then we stop for lunch
Yummy pasta with sausage and tomato and mozzarella
These flowers were planted in small garbage can type containers and I just thought they looked cool
Once I get home, it's nap time
Wakey wakey eggs and bakey
I go over to my parents house because my Dad is grilling Mothers day dinner.
But first, i finish cards for my Mom and Grandma.
BBQ ribs, potatoes, asparagus, pineapple, and white wine. YUM!
And a vanilla cupcake for dessert
And head here after dinner
One of the dance classes I teach need rings as part of their costume for recital next month.
So, I pick these up.
Stop at Sonic on the way home to get my drink on.
SO happy to be home
"take out the papers and the trash"
Put some clean sheets on my bed
Catch up on my YT subscription box
Get some writing done
While listening to the radio.

Face washed, teeth brushed, and SO ready for bed

Tucked into bed, and ready for sleep.
