Nerdy movies, fortune cookies, and High School musical..OH MY!
According to Scifi Wire, two nerd-tastic movies, are in the works to be remade, The first is 'The Neverending Story'. Read the article here. "Neverending Story' was one of favorite childhood movies, for sure. I think we had it on VHS, and I remember watching it a whole lot. The problem was, is that I don't think the sequels were very good. I'm not a big fan of sequels anyway, but if they mess with my childhood, it just won't be good.
There is also talk of a Battlestar Galactica movie. Read the Scifi Wire article here.The problem I have with this, is because it will supposedly be based upon the original series, and have nothing to do with the new series. As popular as the new BSG is, just WHY? I've never seen the original series, but I was once told that it was a "space disco". With the series ending, why can't they do something like 'Seenity', and pick up a little after the final episode. If it gets made, sure I might see it, but I'm not pleased about this.
Last weekend, I went to this outdoor craft show, where I bought a necklace that looks like this. It's like the fortune in the fortune cookie! I thought it was cute anyway. It just came this morning, and I haven't taken it off since. I got my fortune to say 'dance like no one is watching', which is a saying I adore, and I love my new necklace.
Time for your dose of 'Attack of The Show'. Pay attention to the kid on the screen behind Kevin and Olivia. It might make a tad more sense.
