So...what's new. I worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and found out that I need to redo the game section because my boss kindly forgot to tell me that there were some rules I was supposed to follow. Unfortunately, the rules make it utterly impossible to fit the games on the shelves, so either they're going to remain broken or half the games will have to go (which isn't going to happen). But whatever, it's not my problem.
Last night I went over Chris' house, along with Joe, Rich, Randy, dastrikatank, and hexual. Played badminton, volleyball, dodgeball, and wiffleball, went in the pool, and played Risk. Chris' little sister Alyssa (who I've known since she was 6 or 7 years old) told us some interesting things about our old Middle School that I was unaware of. Apparently there are gangs and such now, and the one I was told about is made up several of the stupid, ditzy types of girls. They have a leader, a name (including acronym), opposition, etc. It's crazy. Little kids shouldn't be acting like that. Incidentally, many of them are also "going out" with others, but since they can't really do much in terms of dating, their boyfriends and girlfriends are pretty much just like normal friends. Oh well.
I watched Fahrenheit 9/11 this afternoon, and it was pretty decent. I don't think it quite had the flow of Bowling for Columbine, and so it lost some effect, but it still got the message across pretty clearly. Go Moore. He may be manipulative, but he knows how to make a convincing documentary.
I then continued my Super Mario Advance 4 game (Super Mario Bros. 3), at which I left off at the beginning of the 4th world. I decided I would play every single level in the game, which I'm not sure I've ever done, so it's rather difficult. I'm now up to world 8, so I'm closing in on the end of the game. After I finish this, I'll continue with either Golden Sun: The Lost Age or Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Besides those, the only GBA game I have yet to finish is Super Mario Advance 3 (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island), which I really don't find entertaining at all. Maybe I'll give it another shot after I'm done with everything else. (EDIT: And Zelda: ALttP, too. Oy.)
I'll watch Goodfellas tomorrow, I guess. Oh, tomorrow (or today, I guess) is also my sister's birthday. My card is really lame, but that's okay. I'm working on Thursday and Friday, and took off Saturday so I could see Spiderman 2 with bunnyofcolicab. I also took off July 30, July 31, and August 1 while I was at it, so that they'll know well in advance that I'll be away (specifically, at Otakon).
And I suppose that's about it for now. I should go to bed relatively early so I can actually wake up before noon tomorrow. Night.
