(no subject)
So as most of you know my grandpa has been sick for a couple weeks with pneumonia, well he finally passed today. Me and my fam went to Hospice around 3 and he didn't look good at all. We stayed for a little and I gave him a kiss goodbye. I went home around 6, and at 7 got a phone call saying he was gone. I met my fam at Hospice and seeing everyone cry, esp my dad and grandma was SO hard. My grandpa looked so peaceful though. He looked like he did 4 hours ago when we there visiting him. But tubes werent hooked up to him and he wasn't struggling to breathe. He was just laying there. I'm really close to my grandparents bc they lived so close to my mom and dad. So I saw my grandparents a lot while growing up. And my grandpa is more then a grandpa to me, he was more like a dad. I've never lost a family member before, the only really close person I've lost was Julian. But losing a family member, esp someone who I'm so close to, is SO painful. My dad's birthday is tomorrow. And i'm just SO glad my grandpa didn't pass on my dad's birthday.
Tomorrow is also the 3 year anniversary of Julian's death. So the grief of my dead bestfriend and the grief of my grandpa is VERY overwhelming.
My mom and I are leaving Saturday morning to drive up to Ohio.((My dad is flying with my Grandma)) We're picking Kelly and Miller up on the way there. We'll be in Ohio for a week, so I should be back home next weekend sometime. So that means I have A LOT to do tomorrow. I have to put money in the bank, get my oil changed & tires balanced((pretty much get my car ready for a 1000mile roadtrip)), pay my car ins, elec, & credit card bill, pack, run errands, go see Julian, bake a cake for my dad, ETC. So tomorrow is def going to be a busy day.
I'm taking my comp with me, but I wont have an internet connection all day everyday like I do now. So I wont be on AIM/myspace a lot. I also don't know if Im going to get good service with my cell phone up there. But i'll be keeping everyone posted as much as I can.
I also want to thank everyone for all their support. I have NO idea how I would do this without ya'll. Thank you SO much!
