a long over due update
I realize that I rarely post in here...or anywhere for that matter. It is not that my internal dialogue is quiet, quite the opposite; I chatter non-stop in my mind. Most of the time I don't post because I don't think anyone would interested in my mundane babbling. But if anyone does reading this here is an update.
I am going quite well. I got a job working in the Testing center of Central Arizona College. I not only used to work there but I also graduated with my Associates degree. The Testing Center job is ok, its not too hard the hours are reasonable and the people are great. But then one of my old bosses, I had several, asked me if I wanted my old job back at the Help Desk and I jumped at the chance. I start on Monday night. Not only is it the job that I love doing it pays more, is more challenging (something that I often need in a job), and is a much better fit for school. *does the happy dance*
Yes I mentioned school, I am in the process of applying to Arizona State University. Process you say? Yep, since I will be transfering for a community college there are quite a few hoops that I have to jump through. But I am well on my way *fingers crossed* to attending in January, if not then I will be there in the Fall. My major is Graphic Information Technology (hehehehe I will be a GIT), it is very similiar to a graphic designer, but with less focus on print media. So it looks like I will be a Devil instead of a Lobo, but I think I will always be a Lobo at heart.
Personally I am doing good as well, I still have one of my best friends in Kim. As she put it "So we don't work as partners, but we work well on every other level..." in fact we work beautifully.
I will be in Albuquerque for Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos, so hopefully I will get to see a few of you. That is the one thing about Phoenix is that most of my friends live somewhere else and I don't get out much. Maybe I will force myself out more.
ok that is it for now, hopefully I will update more often. Feel free to poke me if you haven't heard anything for a while, sometimes I need a reminder.
