Did you ever have one of those situations occur where you say something and everybody around you just assumes you're being sarcastic, but you're really not? That was the end of my evening. Wow. I was just having a conversation with Christina Kuhn about this yesterday. I agree with her and you, attending couple parties would start to be a pain in the ass after a while. I try to get at least 3 single people (the minimum is an odd number, so nobody feels like I'm trying to set them up) at every party we throw.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The problem, I think, is that our age group is in a real marrying phase right now. On the downside, you're stuck going to couple parties. On the plus side, you're a sensitive new age guy who girls can come to when the current wave of marriages becomes the future wave of divorces. You, my friend, are set up for sex in a couple of years.
