(no subject)
hmmmm. a good past few days. especially today. except for the ominous email i got from my boss that reads something like "callie, come into work early on monday, i need to talk to you about some things. -jessica" i hope i'm not getting fired. that would blow, i really need this job, as much as i hate it. how would y'all interpret that?
i've been saying "y'all" a lot lately. hmmm?
but today.
i got up early and kate and i went to my friend emily's house and then the co-op. we made the most delicious pancakes ever. EVER.
and we went to a hipster garage sale. i got shoes, two cds, a scarf, a bandana, leg warmers and the most hilarious book i have ever seen in my life. it is called "How to regain your virginity." LOLz. and i paid less than $5 for all of it. yesssss. plus, the guy who was having the sale had on a dinosaur hat, and a sign that said "kisses 25cents" and it was funny.
then cassie, kaitlin, kate and i went to common ground and went dandelion and nettle harvesting. my arms are still on fire, but i got a ton of nettles, and am drying a bunch for tea, and saving some for eatin'.
then xander and i were going to screen print, but that was a disaster. so we came back here and ate the delicious soup i made from the veggies we dumpstered the other night, and watched the office and read the virgin book i got.
i feel productive. i didn't do anything i "needed" to get done, but i feel really accomplished and satisfied with what i did today. which i feel is more important anyway.
