Outside, Anita sits on a rock, her knees drawn up to her chest, a sweater wrapped around her shoulders over the long-sleeved shirt she's wearing. It was getting chilly in St. Louis too. Demeter has been enjoying the quiet and rare last days of Summer when she sees Anita.

Her hair is almost pure silver now though she is still a young woman as she approaches Anita,

"Anita, child, what's wrong?"

Anita looks up at Demeter, and the change in hair color since their last meeting doesn't go unnoticed.

"Why does something have to be wrong?" she asks softly.

"You looked as if you were crying."

In a moment, Demeter is sitting on the ground since its easier to speak that way and the ground is still slightly warm.

"Not yet," she sighs.

It's strange talking casually with a woman. Her only female friend was Ronnie. Most women tended to not like her much, so Anita's been lacking in feminine company.

"I just have men very unhappy with me at the moment, and I'm... well, I'm not sure how to fix it. I know it's my fault. How could it not be? But knowing it and doing something about it are two very different things, and I'm just not sure how to do something."
