hey folks, i don't know if anyone has heard the news (i'm bragging here) but i managed to get tickets for tomorrow's pixies concert for $15 a piece from ebay...

I assume that's a really good price, right? I have to admit (heresy!) that I've never really listened to the Pixies at all. Not sure why, really.

How's the new place? Neil said you live like a ten minute walk from my apartment...

the new place is pretty nice. it's actually really big. it's in an old (meaning full of the elderly) neighbourhood so it's a decent area of town. we're about a 10 minute walk from keele station. it's on indian road. the pixies tickets were selling for $41.50 when you include ticketmaster's "convenience fee". just got back from the show actually. it was pretty fantastic. my ears are ringing pretty bad. the feedback was pretty abrasive at times.

and i think i got some minor large crowd anxiety from the substance abuse i happened to take part in.

How far from Keele/Dundas?

about a ten minute walk uphill from keele station itself... it's not too bad. i hear wes is staying at your place this weekend? let him know i say hey.

i don't think he knows the neighbourhood well enough to answer that. just go to toronto maps or the ttc, locate the dundas/indian rd. intersection, and he's right by there.
