paul's defense of himself about those writings has been abominable. i mean, it's basically amounted to "i didn't write them and i don't know who wrote them." if this guy can't keep track of a pamphlet he sent out ten years ago, how are we expected to believe he'd be able to manage a country?
i'd like to see romney or huck make a comeback tomorrow, because both will be easy to beat in a general election. i have to confess that i think huckabee has a good sense of humor? i hate that i feel like this, but he made a joke about romney's fortunes where he said something like "where i grew up, the word 'summer' was never used as a verb" and i immediately thought-- "why can't we have a progressive leader that's as witty as that?" ditto the chuck norris ad, i guess.
unfortunately, i think mc cain is a done deal, and hillary might still elbow out obama, ultimately. i hope not, but it's tough going up against all that mainstream dem money. edwards was my guy though. at this point, it's more a matter of beating mc cain than hillary vs. obama for me, though i'm certainly pulling for the latter...
