11. Had more than two kinds of lessons before you turned 18
12. The people in the media who dress and talk like me are portrayed positively. this is terribly worded
13. Had a credit card with your name on it before you turned 18.
14. Your parents (or a trust) paid for the majority of your college costs.
15. Your parents (or a trust) paid for all of your college costs
16. Went to a private high school
17. Went to summer camp
18. Had a private tutor before you turned 18.
19. Family vacations involved staying at hotels.
20. Your clothing was all bought new before you turned 18. (i shopped at thrift stores by choice too) i bought thrift store clothing and my mom did her fair share of hand-me-downs, so not "all" was new. again, who worded this
21. Your parents bought you a car that was not a hand-me-down from them
22. There was original art in your house when you were a child.
23. You and your family lived in a single-family house.
24. Your parent(s) owned their own house or apartment before you left home

31. Went on a cruise with your family.
32. Went on more than one cruise with your family
33. Your parents took you to museums and art galleries as you grew up.
34. You were unaware of how much heating bills were for your family anybody that has been to my house in ohio knows that my dad keeps it at a CHILL temperature- i did the same in my apartment in cleveland and i keep it at the lowest temperature in d.c. its wasteful to keep it warm both in $$ and in resources. the key is dressing in layers, people!

so, im not sure what this survey is supposed to reveal. its interesting but there wasnt any explanation as to why these factors were key. like, i had a phone for a year in my room but my dad ripped it out (lolz). my dad does ira/mutual fund work for a living- were he not to do that, im not sure id have one. also, you dont "own" a mutual fund, you participate in one- im just saying- if this is something that is being widely distributed, youd think it would be refined/correct.

okay so on to more important things- jkkkk- new years eve. sebastian, jen, her boyfriend, his weirdo friend, and i went to seriously the only FREE place in dc. SERIOUSLY every other place cost at least $50-80. hell no!!!! and naturally it was packed. we met up at 930- which is so freaking early!!! i'm used to meeting at like, 10/1030 so to meet this early was just weird. it just got more and more crowded until i was just WAITING for midnight to come so as to leave. new years is always just the worst because there is too much anticipation for such a lousy moment.

that said, i didnt drink too too much but had champaigne that sebastian bought and woke up with the WORST hangover. it was awfullll. my head was pounding and i felt like vanessa did on the 'cosby show' after her night out with the galz when they were doing shots and "chug-a-lug"ing.

also, while bernie mac does not in any way beat bill cosby, i do find him to be slightly humorous at midnight.
