Of course it's impossible for me to sleep tonight. It's hot as hell, and I haven't slept normally since the night before my surgery.
Mmhmm. For those of you who don't know, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed on Friday, plus four other teeth. The worst part about it has surprisingly been the drugs they put me on. Because I weigh less than 100 pounds, the nurse directed me to take half a Vicodin rather than an entire pill. Yeah. I took the Vicodin for the first day, then I told my mom I wasn't going to take it anymore. That stuff does awful things to you. The nurse had said that you could replace one Vicodin with three Tylenol, so we tried that. You're not supposed to take more than 8 capsules Tylenol in the span of 24 hours. I took around 21. That was not fun. So on the third day, I'd abandoned the painkillers completely, and I felt fine; I still do. It doesn't really hurt; aches a bit, but doesn't hurt. The swelling is driving me nuts, but it's starting to go down.
Kevin comes home tomorrow, which will be the fifth day. Whether or not I look completely normal, I will be going out to Highland Park to watch the fireworks with him. By the fifth or sixth, I want my life back in full swing. Seriously. I can't stand this sit around and do nothing bullshit.
I also really want to eat Taco Bell. Shut up, the commercials have been torturing me. :P
So, here's my schedule for the rest of the summer:
[7/13] - Going to see The Drowsy Chaperone with mom. :)
[7/16] - Going to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with dad.
[7/19-7/23] - I'm supposed to be going on a cruise with my dad's side of the family, but I'm going to try and get out of it for a couple of reasons. One being that I'll have nothing to do on it, the other being that the graduates are going to start leaving one by one... and I want to spend as much time with them as I can before they do.
[7/24-7/29] - Going back to DMA. It's going to be awesome to be a vet.
[8/6-8/12] - Destination Broadway. Meeting Sutton Foster, Eden Espinosa, Kate Reinders... Hooomg. :X
After that, of course, comes my birthday and band camp. If I get out of the cruise, I'll be 100% ecstatic for everything in my schedule.
P.S. - You love my icon. I know you do.
