1.A Fever You Can't Sweat Out-Panic! At The Disco
I love this album!! I've never heard a voice like Ryan Ross and their lyrics are different than anyone else's out there. Their lyrics are abstract and have this dark feeling but that is what makes them so awesome. I didn't really get that vibe from Pretty Odd. I recommend you listen to Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off and Boys Will Be Boys.
2.Back To Black-Amy Winehouse
I love every single song on th album!! Her voice is very haunting and you can hear her emotions when she sings. A lot of people criticize her for all her personal drama but its just that she having a hard time right now. Hopefully she will get better and better than ever. I recommend you listen to Some Unholy War and Love Is A Losing Game.
3.How To Save A Life-The Fray
This album is absolutely amazing!! Issac's vocals are so sweet. The melodies of the songs with the romantic and poetic lyrics. If you said the words instead of singing them it would sound like poetry out of an old book. I recommend Hundred,She Is,Fall Away and Look After You.
4.As Cruel As School Children-Gym Class Heroes
I love this album because this is the first group I've ever heard fuse hip-hop and rock. Travis can rap!! His lyrics intertwine with each line. This album is freaking awesome!! I recommend Viva La White Girl,New Friend Request and Clothes Off.
5.All We Know Is Falling-Paramore
Yeah sure everyone can't shut up about them but then again why would they? In my opinion this album is way better than Riot. In most of the songs Haylee Williams sings about relationship problems. Not the whiney kind but the kind where she asks questions I think everyone wonders. The lyrics are real and will be easily stuck in your head. I recommend Circles,My Heart,Conspiracy and Franklin.
6.Songs About Jane-Maroon 5
I can listen to this album over and over!! Adam's voice sounds like he is heart broken. This album is so sweet and very detailed as Adam sings his thoughts and memories out loud. It Won't Be Soon Before Long was more of danceable feel while this album is done with more acoustics. I recommend Secret,Sunday Morning and This Love.
7.Under The Iron Sea-Keane
This british band has something going for them! Tom's voice is very somber with haunting melodies in the backround. His agitated voice mostly tells about love that is lost or love that needs mending. This is very bitter stuff!! I recommend Is It Any Wonder,Nothing In My Way and A Bad Dream.
8.Zombies!Aliens!Vampires!Dinosaurs!-Hellogoodbye
I not going to lie,when I heard Here In Your Arms I thought it was soo retartded!! But after giving them a chance and listening to their other stuff I loved them!! Hunter's voice is so adorable and I love some songs have a little bit of techno in them. The lyrics are sweeter than candy and the ukaleyly is genius. I recommend Baby It's A Fact,Oh It Is Love,Stuck To You and Touchdown Turnaound.
9.Blackout-Britney Spears
Sure this album was made during the mist of her public breakdown but it made me fall more in love with her than ever. The songs on this album is very personal. Britney talks about her kids,divorce and her public life. Some songs are very upfront on what Britney thinks about her self sexually. Most of the songs have in your face lyrics with a danceable beat. BUT I suggest you pre-order Circus her new album coming out December 2nd!! I recommend Hot As Ice,Stupid Things,Break The Ice and Piece Of Me.
10.Corinne Bailey Rae-Corinne Bailey Rae
I freakin love this album!! Corinne's voice is so sweet and whimsical. Her lyrics are dreamlike and poetic. The whole album reminds me of sipping tea on the porch on a sunny summer afternoon. This album is classic and one of my all time favorites. I recommend Like A Star,Enchantment,Put Your Records On,Till It Happens To You,Another Rainy Day and Trouble Sleeping.
