yeah, so i guess i could update this nig..i've been pretty darn busy with taekwondo lately. the blackbelt test will be 1/2 done with day 2/3 in one hour, 2 weeks from now. if you can follow that, good for you. i'm excited because we're having some guests come in to spar with us instead of letting us just spar with people we always spar with. so basically, we wont know anything about how the person moves or fights till its too late, which is awesome. its the best kind of fighting and why i love tournaments, and really wanna spar with connor. my sparring's been doing great lately, leaps and bounds. my elbows and shins are now deadly blocking devices, and my doging proficiency is...well, proficient. XD.
from this point on pretty much though i'm not allowed to spar or break anything..so hopefully i wont have to fight some random guy in the next two weeks. the reasoning behind that is basically to make sure no random fluke injuries happen, because that. would. suck.
yeah, so i've been training 3-4 days a week with the group, sometimes 5, and every other day by myself. aside from that, i'm officially avolunteer at mayo clinic 16 hours/week. tuesdays 8-4, and fridays 8-4. by the end of the summer i'll have between 220-240 volunteer hours at hospital environments. siiiick! take that, UF transcript! yeah, thats right. UF. that's pretty much the plan. i got a 2000/2400 on my may SAT, and i'll find out in 9 days how i did this month. hopefully better..if not, oh well, i already kicked ass on it.
my uncle who had been visiting with us for a week called this morning while i was at practice to talk to grandma like usual. the whole time he was here he was telling me over and over how i stand out and that the school for me would be West Point. over and over and over again it was west point, because i'm disciplined, intellegent, and pretty much amazing. so he called today and was saying it again. i guess he knows a guy out in calif' with some connections because this time his message was straight to the point. that me at West Point "could be arranged" so...well d-d-damn. West Point is insaaaaaaanely good. that would change my whole life. its not even like i couldn't g to UF first and then go to med school there at West Point. thats kindof the idea. so, like...holy crap?West Point isn't exactly near here...lol i'll see what katie thinks, as well as various others. anyone retarded enough to know about this livejournal AND subscribed or w/e (or you're just obsessed with me and check it all the time) and realises i've updated and reads this can comment. what do you think? West Point?
anyway...hmm..what else is up...i went over to coreys the other night and had a few drinks because kurt and his friends came home with it..definately shouldn't be toying with that, but i didn't get drunk so it was fine. i could feel the vodka and rum though. i need to not do that again. otherwise, i had a great time kicking butt at halo and hanging out with the guys, stealing josh's fries and playing pool. it was good. then i came home and katie was at bekahs house so i got online for a little while..i dunno i didn't really look at the clock, talked to people and then went to sleep. got up at a comfortable 7 am, was up to fccj by 8 and had practice till about 20 after 11. came home, ate food, played DDR, and now here i am.
damn that game is fun. believe it or not i'd never played before untill today, because whenever it was around there was the potential to just embarras myself since i'd never done it before, lol so i just kept consistently not playing it. but now i can, i'm pretty good but not amazing yet. keyword: yet. lol.
hmmmm....if anyone wants to hang out with me, they should call me and leave a message. i'm pretty busy all the time so i dont always pick up my calls, but i will listen to your message like right away, i just dont wanna get into a convo that could go on forever unless i'm totally free at the moment, and usually i'm not. but leave me a message if you wanna do something, lol and tell me what you wanna do, and when. i'm asleep in the morning, unless its tues or fri, in which case i'm at mayo. i'm busy every night of the week except tuesday, fridays, and saturdays, and 2 weeks from now i wont be available fri-fri. but then after that i'll have more time. lol but yeah, call me! i'm not doing anything tonight cept maybe coreys place, but i can leave if you call me.
