So, I think I'm going to go to bed. Or at least nap and get back online and stuff later. I feel kinda sick, and also my neck and back are killing me. I want a bloody masasge. *sniffles ( Read more... )

Ick. I like to sing that song myself! Luckily, I don't drink, and I don't own a taser.

No, never. In police classes, they encourage each office to take a jolt, so they know what it feels like. it's not required, but peer pressure is an awfully powerful thing, so almost all of them do. however, I'm a dispatcher, not a sworn officer,, so I've never been in one of the classes. I'm also extremely stubborn -- I'd be the one holdback who'd refuse to be tasered, no matter how much pressure was put on me. my theory is, I don't have to get my toe stomped on to know it would hurt.

I'm glad.
Will got tasered once, and he's not even a cop!

Around here all emergency services personnel can get a jolt if they want to go through it, again so they know what it's like. Was that an on the job thing, for him?

Yes. He's a paramedic, and he went out to a scene and the call was actually a fake. The guy was faking a seizure to anger his sister, well long story short, he tried to fight and Will was going to restrain him until the police arrived. After the guy tried to hit him in the face with a chair. Anyway, the police had to get out their tasers, and the guy that they were trying to taser intercepted it and put it to Will's leg.
Badness ensued. apparently it's a 'rather unpleasant sensation.' lol

We try to keep our medics and firefighters away from any kind of fighting, but sometimes it just erupts around them. I had a guy with a head injury kick me in the abdomen, once ... In any case, yeah -- unpleasant sensation.

yeah...Will's a hero. blah blah blah. Mr. Hero needs to get online, and tell everyone he's not dead.

And yes, he's really passive so I think the almost getting hit with a chair qualified him for the 'i'm going to kill you' award..haha.

I'm not sure if passive should be the word so much as nonconfrontational ... or maybe that's the same thing. :-) I try to be nonconfrontational, but I never thought of myself as passive!

That's probably a more accurate term, actually. He doesn't like conflict, but I'm sure he'd take someone out for the right reasons.

That's pretty much the way I feel.
