Ooh, I like this character already. The first two sentences really seem to sum her up. Reading on, she sounds like a very competent, takes-no-crap person. My kinda girl! I look forward to hearing more about her - and also what it is, exactly, that she's hunting...

I may or may not come back to this particular hunt, but on the other hand it gives me the excuse to go trawling bestiaries for creative inspiration, which is fun to the max. So we will see. ;)

The area itself reminds me of a place in Jeff Mariotte's book "Witch Season", with the whole wasteland with the magically kept battleground. Haha. I had forgotten about it.

I'm curious to know what it is that she is hunting. I demand more! *grins*

More might be forthcoming...it depends on how well I do today. And while I didn't post anything here yesterday I got stuck in a comment_fic storm of inspiration and so wrote a lot of fanfic. ^^;;;
