Thanks! I'd call it parody more than poetry, since the meter and structure were all taken from the linked song. I'm almost never satisfied with any of my serious poetry (and so it doesn't make LJ because aiee, no, die), but I can do comic or "in the style of" knockoffs pretty reasonably.
