I think I'm pretty much home for good now. Still waiting for word from the slow ass people at Wayne State admissions though.
I've been working for a ticket selling company that is basically run by my extended family. I worked for five days straight during Taste City Fest, around 12 or 13 hours a day. It didn't feel like work and for most of the event I was a creep and stared at a girl working at a sunglasses booth across the street from me.
Also I may have caught jungle fever from River Days a few weekends ago due to a missed opportunity with a gorgeous girl showing off GM hybrid cars who was much better looking than me. Apparently i was too tired to pick up on her flirtations or just too grounded on this planet to think she was actually interested in me. The two older women in my booth of course told me it was painfully obvious and just thought I wasn't interested in black girls. They were disappointed to find out they had missed a chance to set us up. I think that was my one shot in life at getting a girl who's too hot for me and I've been kicking myself horribly about this ever since.
This weekend I'm working some boat races in Detroit so i need to get out and see people before Friday, preferably a fun event/activity with mild shenanigans and possibly some beverages.
EDIT: BTW the new Sloan album is really fucking good.
