What is the creative spark?
The stuff of writing takes place in everyone's minds, but is mostly unsuitable for print. There are many reasons for this; human thought is often undisciplined, rampant and blurry. It is difficult for us to be succinct and compelling in the form of writing.

because OMFG i relate to this, but the way you word it, kev, I THINK YOU'RE REALLY ONTO SOMETHING.
damn but don't i often feel something that feels kind of similar: that my expressions when being creative or trying to just isn't doing something justice, and that if people would look at it, they'll see the thing i created but not what i was /trying/ to be -- but they'll think the thing i created is a good reflection of /me/. but it isn't! it's indicative of a Try, a Process!
oh, but how i /wish/ i could record, manifest, SHARE, honour and worship, the wisps inside of me that really ARE me!
stuff about language, (i might mention), that you talked about in this post also hit something in me, too.
(and as always, i'm feeling "yay! kevin updated! (like a pleasant surprise like a gift-not-on-your-bday!) :D". just to share my gladness-feeling ;-D )
